Where pieces can be ‘back-ordered’, they are pieces that I am confident I will be able to source and create something the same or incredibly similar within 4-6 weeks including any customisations you would like.

Pieces that are out of stock are for illustration purposes of colours / design / price as the ‘raw’ units are harder to get hold of. That said, I shop for raw units every day so get in touch with your requirements and I’ll find the perfect piece just for you!

Silver & Black Dragon Stencilled Resin & Aluminium Table

These Graham & Greene aluminium side tables have been given a Glasshouse Girl revamp and upgrade. The heavy weight aluminium tables have been repolished to a high shine showing off their elegant silver beauty, The top has then been stencilled with a black dragon mandala design which has then been sealed with glossy resin for a domed finish. Dimensions: 600mm diameter x 585mm high. All my pieces are upcycled and use preloved furniture and whilst they have been given a complete upgrade, there may be still be limited signs of their vintage provenance. Black & Gold Classical Stencilled Side Table

This lovely side table has been given a classic makeover in black and gold that gives a subtle nod to the classical Graeco-Roman style. The table has been painted in a soft matte black acrylic and a sparkling gold design stencilled on top. The top has then been sealed in a hardwearing varnish. Dimensions: 535mm diameter x 585mm high. Copper & Dark Grey Croc Wine Table Duo

This sweet pair of upcycled mid-century occasional nesting tables are just the right height to pop next the sofa or by an armchair. The low height makes them perfect to help you relax, whether that is with a cup of tea or a cheeky glass of wine! The table bases have been painted in hardwearing dark grey acrylic paint and the tops decoupaged in this stunning custom copper mock-croc design. ‘Off My Rocker’ Silver Modern Rocking Chair

Rocking chairs don't have to be old fashioned. This solid wood framed modern rocking chair proves that with its Elton John makeover! The frame is made from solid wood and has been stripped back to the bare wood so you can appreciate its full beauty. The cushion pads have been replaced with 100mm deep foam and reupholstered in a super soft silver leatherette making it a really comfortable. A fire retardant interliner ensures this piece meets all UK safety standards. This luxurious piece is one that you'll just love to curl up in at the end of a hard day... and probably argue with your family about whose turn it is to go 'off your rocker'! Vintage Cake Stand Green Mathon Hops & Gold Royal Worcester

Beautiful vintage 3 tier cake stand made from some lovely Royal Worcester china plates. The top and bottom tier are in the green / gold Worcester Hops Mathon pattern and the middle plate is a Royal Worcester with a gold rim. Gold cake stand hardware with a simple but elegant round handle. Getting the proportions of my cake stands right is really important to me as some sellers can use plates that don't achieve the appropriate elegant taper of a true cake stand. With this in mind, the plate diameters are: 27.5cm / 23.5cm / 20.5cm. Carefully wrapped and gift boxed with assembly instructions. Please note: as these plates are vintage, they show a little wear and tear through usage. That said, in this instance, there is little if any on these cake stands. I have lots of other plate designs and vintage china available via eBay, please check out my other items for sale or save me as a seller for new designs as they are added.

I was overjoyed to see a large dresser, bedside table and mirror from my childhood restored after receiving 40 years of abuse, including my own attempt at refurbishing it. Jenny was very good in the initial stages of helping me to define what effect, I wanted to achieve. I sent her examples of a subtle grey lime wash on oak with soft white highlights on a piece I saw in the Cotswolds. She responded with several photos of something similar to clarify the ask, then it was time to send the furniture to her, which was complicated by the fact I was moving house. But we managed to come up with a plan and the movers dropped the furniture at her storage unit the same day. Throughout the process Jenny sent jpeg photos in emails to show me how it was progressing. We were able to make some minor changes after the first piece was almost finished. What I didn’t expect was that the pieces were made of different types of wood and the top of the bedside table was almost destroyed due to water (mostly spilt tea) damage. This was the biggest challenge to overcome because the final look had to be consistent across all three pieces. Jenny rose to the challenge and performed her paint “magic” and the final result is brilliant, better than I could have imagined. The only slight disappointment was due to my own indecisiveness about the brass trim handles and knobs. I wish I had listened to Jenny in the first place when she brightened them up, still - she let me come back with them, conjured up a nice looking sample which she posted to me and soon they will receive the “Glass House Girl” treatment too. Most of all, through all of this, I appreciated the open communication through emails and text, Jenny was on top of it the whole way. Of course, I would highly recommend sending any weary looking furniture to Glass House Girl to brighten up with her magic.

Fantastic service from Jenny. I had my mother’s old Singer sewing machine I wanted making into a lamp. Jenny arranged for the machine to be collected and re-delivered back to my house. When I had a slight problem with the lamp, Jenny arranged for it to be collected so she could make it good again and returned it to me herself at no extra cost to me. She did a BRILLIANT job and the lamp is now standing proudly in my front room in memory of my mum. I would highly recommend Glasshouse girl, honest, trustworthy and marvellous craftswomen. You won’t be disappointed.
