These solid pine pieces have been given the ultimate modern country makeover and demonstrates that the simplest vintage furniture can be transformed into an on trend feature piece.
The frame and handles of the original 4+2 drawer chest of drawers (or dresser as our American friends like to call it!) and bedside tables have been refinished in a striking black acrylic paint. The flat surfaces have then been decoupaged with this striking HoH Dalston Rose paper featuring roses in black and white on a cream background. The whole piece has then been sealed with several coats of satin varnish which gentle refracts the light.

This solid oak sideboard has been given a bright and cheery makeover. Its carved details and primitive style are just the essence of English country farmhouse style.
As a low unit, this piece would not only work in a traditional dining room or kitchen diner but it would work brilliantly in your lounge with your flatscreen TV on top. You could even add a couple of bright cushions and use it as the perfect hallway or bedroom storage unit and bench.
The main unit has been painted in a stunning yellow acrylic paint, lightly distressed and antique glazed to give it an authentic time worn style. The original hardware has been refinished in a satin black to contrast with the yellow whilst adding a touch of modern style. The whole exterior has been sealing with several coats of satin lacquer to maintain its aged good looks.
The top has been completely stripped back to the wood, stained with a walnut wood dye and made durable with a finishing coat of a hardwearing matt floor oil.
The interior has been cleaned up by painting in a white acrylic paint and a fruity floral wallpaper has been used to line the drawers and the inside of the doors. This adds another layer of interest when you open it up.

Grey Roses Faded Elegance Oak Chairs
These farmhouse style ladder back solid oak chairs just ooze faded elegance. They are traditional chairs made from solid oak but have been given an edgy modern finish.
These chairs have now been sold but I can source similar chairs for you and give them a gorgeous makeover.
The grey and white finish has been created through the use of dry brushing techniques and rubbing in paint washes. This gives is a look that from a distance is like metal or stone. Up close you can see gentle distressing which exposes little glimpses of the lovely oak underneath.
The seat pads have been fully replaced with extra-thick (and comfy) fire retardant foam and covered in this lovely vintage Warwick fabric (Monance design) which is a soft beige linen and cotton blend upholstery fabric with dark carbon grey and navy blue roses with a few chocolate brown leaves.
Dimensions - 450mm deep, 400mm wide and 485mm to top of seat pad or 940mm overall height from floor to top of chair back.
They would look equally gorgeous at your dining room table, in the hallway, at a desk or even a dressing table!

King Skull Charcoal & Silver Bedroom Furniture
These three drawer solid pine bedside cabinets have been professionally upcycled and given an edgy and striking makeover.
Each cabinet is painted in a hardwearing acrylic paint that is such a dark grey it is also black. Each flat surface has been decoupaged in a textured vinyl wallpaper that features crowned skulls in a glittery silver.
The handles are classic, simple silver cones and the drawers have been been lined with the same skull design paper .
Price is per cabinet and they are made to order on a commission basis (approx 4-6 weeks) using a similar cabinet that you will approve before the makeover starts.

Yellow Vintage Farmhouse Style Small Sideboard / Storage
This vintage oak sideboard is just perfect for adding a bright and cheery vibe as well as useful storage to your hallway, lounge, kitchen or dining room. The carved detail on the top drawers features some fabulous fruity vines and leaves.
An authentic vintage piece, it has been cleaned up and painted using a canary yellow acrylic paint, before being lightly distressed and antique glazed to give it an authentic antique style. The heavy weight drop handles have been refinished in a satin black to contrast with the yellow whilst adding a touch of modern style.
The top has been completely stripped back, stained with a walnut wood dye and finished in a satin hardwax oil. This makes the gorgeous oak woodgrain stand out and protects it from every day wear and tear.
The drawers have been lined with a fruity floral wallpaper adding an extra pop of colour when you open them.
