Parisian Stripe Floral Bedside Tables

These classic Stag bedside tables feature wide Parisian style stripes in a classic taupe and ivory. The top has been kept classic in the neutral taupe whilst the striped sides and front of the drawers feature that extra touch of oh la la with creamy white Magnolia flowers. A secret pull out table top extension makes them extra useful giving you the perfect place to pop your book or teacup when enjoying a well deserved lie-in on a Sunday. The original floral handles have been polished and lacquered to keep the classic brass shining bright. All surfaces have been sealed in tough acrylic varnish. Price is for the pair of bedside cabinets. Dimensions: 520mm wide x 460mm deep x 540mm high. The Parisian Magnolia design can be recreated on other pieces of furniture and in other colourways such as Black / White, Greys, Pink / Ivory and more. Ivory Cream ‘Safari’ Bedroom Furniture

These three drawer solid pine bedside cabinet tables are deceptively subtle with a beautifully drawn safari of animals in grey and silver strolling across the surface savannahs. Each cabinet is painted in an ivory cream acrylic paint on the outside and on the visible drawer edges. Each flat surface has been decoupaged in an African animal themed wallpaper with a silver shine which includes Giraffes, Elephants, Hippos and Zebras. This has then been sealed in with two coats of satin varnish to protect from wear and tear. Drawer interiors are lined with the same paper and finished with an heavy silver metal ethnic bird handle. Prices listed are per cabinet / per pair. I have numerous 'raw' pine bedsides in stock with plain bases / bun feet and flat / curved tops which you can choose from if you commission bedsides in this design. Typical dimensions: 400-500mm wide x 380-450mm deep x 590-700mm high. You can also commission solid pine chest of drawers (approx £395 depending in size) and dressing tables (approx £290) in the same design. Special requests can also be accommodated. Typical lead time on commissioned pieces is 4-6 weeks.

Floral Blue & White English Countryside Bedside Cabinet(s)

These solid pine bedside cabinets are subtle and sophisticated featuring a floral pattern using motifs from the English countryside Each cabinet is painted in a white acrylic paint with a soft grey undertone. Each flat surface has been decoupaged in a blue, white and silver wallpaper that features roses/dahlias, foxgloves and poppies. This has then been sealed with two coats of satin varnish to protect it. The handles are real ridged glass flowers with a silver centre and the drawers have been been lined with the same floral design paper . You can also commission solid pine chest of drawers (approx £435 depending on size) and dressing tables (approx £315) in the same design. I have numerous 'raw' pine bedsides in stock with plain bases / bun feet and flat / curved tops which you can choose from if you commission bedsides in this design. Black & White Monochrome Floral Patterned Bedroom Furniture

These 3 drawer solid pine bedside cabinets have been lovingly upcycled and rescued from obscurity with coal black paint and decoupage. The decoupage is a floral motif featuring curvy lines and floral patterns which when seen from a distance is bold geometric whilst it gets more floral and feminine up close. The handles are a simple black cage which blends seamlessly with the black pattern. The units are finished with two coats of a resin based varnish to protect them from wear and tear. Dimensions: 405mm wide x 340mm deep x 560mm high The paper used is now out of print but I have enough left to create a matching chest of drawers which would be approximately £360 depending on size of the chest of drawers - please contact me to discuss. All my pieces are upcycled and use preloved furniture and whilst they have been given a complete upgrade, there may be still be limited signs of their vintage provenance.

‘Flamingo’ Bedroom Furniture

These two drawer solid pine bedside cabinets have been given a gentle, feminine and glamourous makeover reminiscent of Hollywood's Golden Age. Each cabinet has been painted in a custom mixed antique white acrylic paint and the flat surfaces have been decoupaged in a flamingo themed wallpaper from Sanderson. This paper is from the Vintage Collection II in the blush / ivory colourway and the blush pink print has a delicate metallic finish. They have then been finished with two coats of satin varnish to seal and protect from wear and tear. Iridescent glass bubbles handles from Anthropologie perfectly pick out the pink and white glamour of the flamingo paper. Dimensions: 440m wide x 400mm deep x 455mm high. This design can be applied to all manner of pine furniture and other furniture pieces and special requests can be accommodated including the other colourways shown here. Shabby Chic ‘Birdie’ Bedroom Furniture

These gorgeous three drawer solid pine bedside cabinets would look beautiful in a gentle, feminine, shabby chic bedroom. Each cabinet is painted in an off-white acrylic paint and you can choose whether you want a 'perfect' paint finish or if you would like it to be lightly distressed around the edges. Each flat surface has been decoupaged in a bird themed, wallpaper with silver accents before finishing with two coats of satin varnish to seal and protect from wear and tear. Drawer interiors are stained with a complimentary off-white revealing the beauty of the pine - the final look of this will depend on the colour of the raw pine of course! The drawer bottoms have been lined with the same bird design so that these chests of drawers look beautiful inside and out. Off-white pumpkin shaped handles complete this dreamy subtle look and you can choose between silver or bronze centres. Each and every cabinet has features a different combination of birds in different places, giving you a completely unique piece! I was overjoyed to see a large dresser, bedside table and mirror from my childhood restored after receiving 40 years of abuse, including my own attempt at refurbishing it. Jenny was very good in the initial stages of helping me to define what effect, I wanted to achieve. I sent her examples of a subtle grey lime wash on oak with soft white highlights on a piece I saw in the Cotswolds. She responded with several photos of something similar to clarify the ask, then it was time to send the furniture to her, which was complicated by the fact I was moving house. But we managed to come up with a plan and the movers dropped the furniture at her storage unit the same day. Throughout the process Jenny sent jpeg photos in emails to show me how it was progressing. We were able to make some minor changes after the first piece was almost finished. What I didn’t expect was that the pieces were made of different types of wood and the top of the bedside table was almost destroyed due to water (mostly spilt tea) damage. This was the biggest challenge to overcome because the final look had to be consistent across all three pieces. Jenny rose to the challenge and performed her paint “magic” and the final result is brilliant, better than I could have imagined. The only slight disappointment was due to my own indecisiveness about the brass trim handles and knobs. I wish I had listened to Jenny in the first place when she brightened them up, still - she let me come back with them, conjured up a nice looking sample which she posted to me and soon they will receive the “Glass House Girl” treatment too. Most of all, through all of this, I appreciated the open communication through emails and text, Jenny was on top of it the whole way. Of course, I would highly recommend sending any weary looking furniture to Glass House Girl to brighten up with her magic.

Fantastic service from Jenny. I had my mother’s old Singer sewing machine I wanted making into a lamp. Jenny arranged for the machine to be collected and re-delivered back to my house. When I had a slight problem with the lamp, Jenny arranged for it to be collected so she could make it good again and returned it to me herself at no extra cost to me. She did a BRILLIANT job and the lamp is now standing proudly in my front room in memory of my mum. I would highly recommend Glasshouse girl, honest, trustworthy and marvellous craftswomen. You won’t be disappointed.
